Qapital B.V. is the data controller for personal data processed through Quantr. You can reach us at hello@quantr.co.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account data: Name, email address, company name, and billing information when you register or subscribe
• Usage data: Log data, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and feature usage, collected automatically
• Uploaded content: Financial documents, CSV files, and other data you upload to the platform for analysis
• Company data: Public information retrieved from the KvK (Chamber of Commerce) and CBS registries based on searches you initiate
• Waitlist data: Email addresses submitted via the early access form on quantr.co

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Quantr platform
• Process and analyse uploaded documents to generate insights
• Manage your account and subscription
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts)
• Contact waitlist registrants about product availability
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising purposes and do not sell it to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

• Contract performance: Processing necessary to deliver the service you subscribed to
• Legitimate interests: Usage analytics and security monitoring to improve the platform
• Consent: For marketing communications, where applicable
• Legal obligation: Where required by law, including tax and financial regulations

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located within the European Union. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Uploaded documents are retained for the duration of your active subscription and deleted within 30 days of account closure, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: Trusted third-party processors (hosting, payment processing, email delivery) operating under data processing agreements
• Legal requirements: Where required by law, court order, or regulatory authority
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, with appropriate notice to you

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances
• Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time

8. Cookies

Quantr uses only strictly necessary cookies required for the platform to function (session management, authentication). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No consent banner is required for strictly necessary cookies under the ePrivacy Directive.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months. Waitlist email addresses are deleted upon product launch or within 24 months, whichever comes first.

10. Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your data in accordance with this policy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-platform notification. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
